Location
How to get to Garver Feed Mill
Garver Feed Mill is located on the east side of Madison, Wisconsin, at 3241 Garver Green, Madison, WI 53704.
- From I-39/90 North, use the left lane to take exit 138B to merge onto WI-30 W toward Madison. Take exit 1C for US-51 South. From there, take Milwaukee Ave St exit, turn right on Milwaukee St, then turn left onto S Fair Oaks Avenue, turn left onto Garver Green. Garver Feed Mill is a short driveway from there.
- If you are coming from I-39-90 South, use the right lane to take exit 138B to merge onto WI-30 W towards Madison. From there, follow the steps above to reach Garver Feed Mill.
- From the Beltline: Exit on Monona Drive and follow to South Fair Oaks Avenue. You’ll pass an apartment building before noticing a large sign on your right “GARVER FEED MILL”. Turn there, and you’ll drive down a short road before reaching the parking lot.
If you’re not local, it’s best to fly in to Dane County Regional Airport. From the Airport: Follow International Lane until it ends. Turn left onto Packers Avenue, which becomes Pennsylvania Avenue. Turn left at the traffic lights onto First Street. Turn right onto East Washington Avenue. Follow the directions from East Washington Avenue (listed above).
If you’re up for a drive or bus ride, you can fly into Milwaukee General Mitchell Airport, which is about 90 minutes away. You can travel to Madison via Badger Bus or Uber and from there make your way to Garver.
You can also easily fly into Chicago’s Midway Airport or Chicago’s O’Hare Airport. From there, take the Van Galder Bus to Madison and grab an Uber to get to Garver Feed Mill.
There is also an Amtrak Station in Columbus, Wisconsin, which is roughly 25 minutes from Madison’s east side via car.



Where to park
Garver Feed Mill has very limited parking options, as they do not close the building when hosting events. Therefore, their other spaces are easily accessible. It’s important to have a transportation option for your guests, or offer Uber/Lyft guest codes so they can easily access the venue and not have to worry about parking.
Gallant Knight Limousine is a popular option in the Madison area for wedding day transportation.
Mad City Party Bus is another great transportation company.

- Embassy Suites by Hilton Madison Downtown – Just a short ride away from Garver Feed Mill is the newly-opened Embassy Suites.
- The Edgewater Hotel – Located steps away from Lake Mendota with stunning sunset views, the Edgewater Hotel is an excellent option for you and your guests.

The Atrium
With the ability to accommodate up to 300 people for a seated dinner, Garver Feed Mill’s Atrium is a dream dinner and reception space. Exposed brick throughout with large, historic windows make this a dream for those looking to customize their guests’ experience.
Each rental includes the use of the private lounge, private patio, and hospitality suite with a private bathroom — perfect for getting ready with your favorite people.


Canvas
Fit for more intimate wedding days, Canvas is a modern art gallery with rotating exhibitions. Canvas can fit up to 100 people for your ceremony and 75 guests for a seated dinner. Included in your rental is parking, cleaning, onsite venue coordinator, full-service caterer and bar. Canvas can be added on to other space rentals as well.

Garver Lounge
Upon entering Garver Feed Mill, one of the first spaces you see is The Lounge. The flexibly furnished space fits up to 50 people for mingling and 25 for a seated intimate dinner. Included with your Atrium rental, it’s highly encouraged to use the space for sipping cocktails and local brews during your cocktail hour.


Private Lounge
Tucked away behind the Garver Lounge is the intimate Private Lounge. Featuring a full service bar, cocktail tables and limited seating options, the Private Lounge is a perfect addition for your cocktail hour.
