Joyful and Intentional Madison Capitol Elopement // Ashley & Alicia
When Ashley and Alicia first reached out to me for their Madison Capitol Elopement, I squealed in excitement. Their vision of a joyful and intimate elopement day at the Wisconsin State Capitol with their 40 closest people sounded perfect.
The Wisconsin State Capitol building is perfect for couples looking to have an intimate experience with limited stress. These two got ready close by at the Concourse Hotel. We started the day by capturing details of their getting ready moments, as well as their first look in the hotel lobby.
After their tearful first look, the three of us headed to the Wisconsin State Capitol building for some portraits before their intimate ceremony.
At the Capitol Building, Ashley and Alicia rented the Senate Parlor, which features comfortable leather chairs, gold accents and big, beautiful paintings featuring Wisconsin’s colorful history.
By renting a private room, Ashley and Alicia had peace of mind knowing there would be no interruptions during their ceremony. They also played their own music as they walked down the aisle. I highly recommend renting a private room for any couples choosing to elope at the Wisconsin State Capitol building.
After their beautiful ceremony, we took family photos before rounding out the rest of our time together with a champagne pop and some more portraits. I’m forever thankful these two asked me to capture their incredible day with intention and so much love.
