Location
How to get to The Madison Club
The Madison Club is located right on the historic downtown square, at 5 E Wilson St, Madison, WI 53703.
- From West Washington Avenue: Turn right on Fairchild and continue two blocks. Turn left on Doty Street and continue three blocks. Turn right on Pinckney, then right on Wilson Street.
- From East Washington Avenue: Turn left on Blair Street. Turn right before the traffic signal onto Wilson Street.
- From the Beltline: Exit on John Nolen Drive and follow into downtown. After you pass the entrance to the Monona Terrace Convention Center on your right, you will turn left at the second stoplight (Wilson Street). The Club is located next to the Hilton Hotel.
If you’re not local, it’s best to fly in to Dane County Regional Airport. From the Airport: Follow International Lane until it ends. Turn left onto Packers Avenue, which becomes Pennsylvania Avenue. Turn left at the traffic lights onto First Street. Turn right onto East Washington Avenue. Follow the directions from East Washington Avenue (listed above).
If you’re up for a drive or bus ride, you can fly into Milwaukee General Mitchell Airport, which is about 90 minutes away. You can travel to downtown Madison via Badger Bus or Uber.
You can also easily fly into Chicago’s Midway Airport or Chicago’s O’Hare Airport. From there, take the Van Galder Bus to downtown Madison.
There is also an Amtrak Station in Columbus, Wisconsin, which is roughly 30 minutes from Downtown Madison via car.


Where to park
Upon arriving at The Madison Club, there are a few options available for parking:
- The Hilton Hotel Parking Ramp – Right next to The Madison Club, you’ll find parking at a rate of $5/hour with a maximum of $25/day.
- The Wilson Street Garage – Across the street at 20 East Wilson Street, parking is charged at a rate of $1.80/hour with a maximum $8.00 daily rate for those who park after 6:00 PM and on weekends.
- The Monona Terrace Ramp – On West Wilson Street, just west of South Carroll Street, parking is charged at a rate of $1.50/hour with a maximum $5.00 daily rate for those who park after 5:00 PM and on weekends.
It’s recommended to travel via ride share apps like Uber or Lyft or book a shuttle service for guests. Eliminating parking struggles is always appreciated

- Madison Concourse Hotel – The Madison Concourse Hotel is perfect for those who want to stay close to all of the nightlife Madison has to offer.
- Best Western Premier Park Hotel – The Park hotel is close to some of Madison’s best restaurants and has gorgeous capitol views!
- Embassy Suites by Hilton Madison Downtown – Just a short walk away from the Madison Club is the newly-opened Embassy Suites.
- The Edgewater Hotel – Located steps away from Lake Mendota with stunning sunset views, the Edgewater Hotel is an excellent option for you and your guests.

The Terrace Room
Typically the scene for cocktail hour, the Terrace Room is perfect for taking in the panoramic views of Lake Monona. The Terrace Room and Louise Marston Conklin Room can be combined to accommodate more guests!

The Roosevelt Room
The Roosevelt Room is an elegant large space, perfect for your ceremony or dancing. It’s also a perfect option for cocktail hour after your ceremony is over. Accommodating up to 144 people, there’s also a full service bar and it can be combined with The Lake Room to fit even more people!

The Lake Room
Right next to The Roosevelt Room is The Lake Room. This wide and inviting space functions perfectly for cocktail hour. Enjoy the views of the Monona Terrace as you sip cocktails with your guests!

The Library
Located on the first floor, The Library is a great getting ready space for your wedding party. Featuring books, luscious sofas and a table for conversing or playing a few games, you’ll love prepping in this space!


Meeting Rooms
On the second level of The Madison Club, you’ll find meeting rooms which can double as an additional getting ready space on your wedding day. The Mendota Room, The Monona Room and The Waubesa Room can accommodate up to 20 people and feature beautiful light and fun wallpaper to set the tone for your wedding day.


The Stairway
One of the most beautiful features of The Madison Club is their gorgeous spiral staircase. There are a few spaces to utilize this trademark and I love taking some time for a few portraits here.
