Gina and Matt knew exactly how to make their industrial modern wedding at Loft28West elegant, thoughtful, and unforgettable.
The couple and their friends got ready at a nearby hotel. As they got ready, I captured details and intimate moments. After everyone was ready, I helped stage the first look right across the street in front of Aurora’s fire department.
After a sweet and emotional first look, we took some beautiful portraits. Next, we met up with Gina and Matt’s wedding party. Gina and Matt found some great locations in downtown Aurora that were the perfect setting.
Their venue, Loft28West, looked amazing thanks to florals by Flour & Flowers by MK and beautiful set up by Loft28West. Loft28West’s industrial look was the perfect venue for the vibe Gina and Matt were going for.
Gina and Matt’s ceremony was simple and sweet. Specifically, their officiant shared their love story to their closest family and friends.
Afterwards, their reception began. There were so many sweet moments as Gina’s sister gave an incredible matron of honor speech. Laughter filled the space as Matt’s brother told stories of their childhood. Speeches are some of my favorite parts of the wedding day, and this one was no exception.
Gina and Matt’s first dances were lit up with indoor sparklers to set the mood and start the party! After the dancing began, the three of us snuck out to take some photos. We found a parking garage that was filled up with hundreds of overhead marquee lights and embraced the emptiness. I asked them to dance and twirl as darkness started to set.
This day and these two was one of my favorite days of 2022. The love that Gina and Matt have for each other and their people was the best thing about their wedding. Gina and Matt are meant to be and will always be surrounded by so much love and joy.
