Industrial Modern Wedding at Loft28West

Gina and Matt knew exactly how to make their industrial modern wedding at Loft28West elegant, thoughtful and unforgettable.

They got ready at a nearby hotel where I got to meet all of the wedding party and capture all those good pre-ceremony moments including gorgeous details! When everyone was ready, I helped stage the first look right across the street in front of Aurora’s fire department, a gorgeous building that was the perfect backdrop.

After a sweet and emotional first look, we took some portraits before meeting up with Gina and Matt’s pup, Drax and taking photos with the wedding party! They had scoped out some gorgeous locations nearby that had almost total privacy, which is key when working with a large wedding party.

Soon after the ceremony, their reception began!

Loft28West looked amazing thanks to gorgeous florals by Flour & Flowers by MK and beautiful set up by Loft28West. The Industrial look of Loft28West paired so well with Gina’s vision.

Their reception was filled with so many sweet moments including tears from everyone in the audience as Gina’s sister gave an incredible matron of honor speech. Laughter filled the space as Matt’s brother told stories of their childhood.

Gina and Matt’s first dances were lit up with indoor sparklers to set the mood and start the party! After the dancing began, the three of us snuck out to take some photos as the sun was setting behind buildings. We found a parking garage that was filled up with hundreds of overhead marquee lights and embraced the emptiness as I had them dance and twirl as darkness started to set.
