Mystic Ponds Estate Spring Wedding

Married in late May, Troy and Jess’s Mystic Ponds Estate spring wedding was an amazing day to capture.

Troy and Jess live in Dubuque, Iowa, where they have built a happy life together with their beloved dog, Cherry. Despite their busy schedules, they always find time for each other and their shared passion for exploring the great outdoors.

Their wedding day was a beautiful celebration of their love and commitment to each other. We started with their first look on a path in the woods. It was a mild spring day in Central Wisconsin and the sun was shining bright as we took their wedding party photos.

Set on the shores of the estate’s pond, their ceremony was a beautiful sight with a gorgeous arch and vintage rugs that served as the aisle. Jess looked stunning in her flowing white gown, with her hair pulled back in a loose braid and a bright smile on her face. Troy was equally handsome in his classic suit and tie.

After the ceremony, the couple and their guests enjoyed a delightful cocktail hour on the estate’s spacious grounds, surrounded by scenic views of the countryside. The reception was held in the estate’s barn, with twinkling fairy lights, simple floral arrangements, and rustic-chic decor that perfectly reflected Troy and Jess’s style. There were heartfelt speeches, plenty of laughter, and great dancing by both Jess and Troy (but especially Jess).

I snuck them out for a few portraits during the reception to embrace the setting sun. Every couple always says that they loves sneaking out during sunset because it gives them a few moments to soak it all in.

It was such a pleasure to photograph Jess and Troy’s Mystic Ponds Estate spring wedding and I can’t wait to see what’s next for these two.
