Spring Engagement Session at Devil’s Lake | Logan & Teresa

When I first met these two, I knew their spring engagement session at Devil’s Lake would be one of my favorites of 2022.

Teresa and Logan planned their weekend around their amazing engagement session at Devil’s Lake! We started out at the bottom of the lake and said quick hellos before we started the quick hike to the top of the bluffs. It was a nice day, but definitely a little warm after that hike!

Devil’s Lake is one of my favorite places in Wisconsin. It’s where I got married, where I learned to paddle board and where I take most of my friends when they visit!! I was so happy when Teresa and Logan said they wanted to have their spring engagement session at Devil’s Lake after I recommended it!

The East Bluff Trail is a moderate and heavy climb up to the bluffs that overlook the lake. You gain 500 feet of elevation in about 20-30 minutes!! So definitely bring lots of water, some snacks, and a good attitude!

These two killed it and for the end result, we got some STUNNING portraits with almost no one around!

After photographing at the top of the bluffs for a bit, we made our way back down and to the lake shore. The sun was setting behind the rolling hills of the lake and it was so beautiful. I made sure to document how it felt to be basked in the warm light of the setting sun.

We ended their spring session at Devil’s Lake with a little Miller Lite (Logan’s favorite!) and watching the sun set behind the beautiful lake.
