Elegant Milwaukee Wedding at the Fitzgerald

Elroy and Megan planned the perfect elegant Milwaukee wedding at the Fitzgerald in the historic east side neighborhood.

Their day was a perfect representation of these two college sweethearts. They incorporated classic midwestern wedding elements along with some modern takes that reflected their life in California.

I focused on capturing the beauty of Megan’s dress and their details. All of the details they had created and set up for their guests were so fun and unique.

Once the couple was ready, I set up their first look outside of The Fitzgerald where we found a beautiful vine-filled wall. The greenery was the perfect backdrop for Megan and Elroy. I loved photgraphing their vow exchange and first look against that wall.

Their wedding party was HUGE, so we embraced the openness of the space next to the Fitzgerald. I loved all the energy their crew brought to photos.

Megan and Elroy’s ceremony was in the Fitzgerald’s open courtyard. The courtyard was just big enough for their ceremony that had sweet readings and a unity candle ceremony. After their first kiss, the crowd erupted in cheers!

Their reception was decorated beautifully with floral towers and gorgeous place settings. Their elegant design fit in so well with the Fitzgerald’s classic look.

After dinner, I snuck the couple out for a few more wedding portraits before dancing started. I hear from couples all the time how thankful they are to spend a few quiet moments together after all the hustle and bustle of the day.
